At last the justification us men have been looking for, man flu is not a myth.

Scientist in South Korea have stated that the ailment that women have found a source of amusement for years could actually be real.

Wikipedia´s definition on man flu states that “Man flu is a pejorative term that refers to the idea that when many men have a cold, they exaggerate and claim they have the flu”.

However studies have shown that this perception could be linked to work stress. Scientists studies 1,200 workers from 40 different companies. They discovered that 74% of men with demanding jobs are more likely to complain of cold symptoms than those with less demanding jobs. However a similar study could find no such link in women with differing work stress levels.

So ladies, when you are looking down on one of us men, looking pathetic and complaining of the unbearable headache and soar throat, do not laugh or judge him too quickly. Remember that this could mean that he has a very successful job. Actually I think I can feel a sniffle coming on now.
